The East-West Management Institute’s Advancing CSO Capacities and Engaging Society for Sustainability (ACCESS) project invites qualified individuals for a Communications and Public Outreach Internship for the period of October 1 to December 3, 2016.
The Intern will use his/her technical skills, education, experience, and country knowledge to accomplish the following tasks:
- Assist the ACCESS program managers in regularly publishing activity updates, Components’ successes and achievements on the project’s social media page and ACCESS web-site
- Attend project events to take notes on programming progress and updates and prepare short news for ACCESS social media pages, website, donor reporting and monthly newsletter
- Provide administrative support to record and compile M&E data
- Provide translations from Georgian to English (and rarely from English to Georgian) for project’s social media and newsletter and other project-related documents on needs basis
- Perform other tasks related to ACCESS programing across its components
The desired qualifications are:
- Degree or expected degree in Journalism or in Social Sciences
- Fluency in English
- Track record in writing/publishing online and for public use
- Knowledge and experience in assisting with organization’s/project’s social media and web-site pages
- Knowledgeable and/or trained to use other graphics tools to visualize project achievements and updates
- Candidates with non-profit experience will be given a preference

The Internship is paid. The qualified Intern will be paid USD 150 gross a month.
