Evaluation of the Government’s Communication and Information Strategy on European Integration Issues

On May 27, EWMI ACCESS grantee – Media Development Foundation (MDF) will hold presentation of its final research report in frames of the project “Debunking Myths and Informing Public on Euro-Atlantic Integration”. Presemtation will take Place at Radisson Blue Inveria Hotel, at 2:00 p.m.

As part of the project, MDF has finalized its evaluation and monitoring of the Georgian Government’s Communication and Information Strategy on European Integration Issues for the period of 2014-2017 and its annual Action Plans. For this purpose, MDF conducted desk research on media environment concerning anti-western myths, interviewed civil servants and studied activities of ministries and other public institutions in terms of communicating and promoting Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration process. Based on the study findings MDF also produced policy recommendations which will be discussed after the report presentation in a multi-stakeholder format.
