Leadership Academy for Development
On January 18-22, 2016, Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), in partnership with Tbilisi-based Think Tank – Economic Policy Research Center (EPRC) will hold a 5-day executive-level training program for government officials, business and Civil Society leaders in Tbilisi – The Leadership Academy for Development (LAD).The Tbilisi workshop will be dedicated to The Role of Public Policy in Private Sector Development and will teach selected participants how to be effective reform leaders and promote sound public policies. CDDRL Director, Francis Fukuyama of Stanford University and Professor Alan Trager of Johns Hopkins University will lead the workshop.
The LAD program in Georgia is being implemented with the financial support of EWMI ACCESS and the Good Governance Initiative in Georgia (GGI) and is free for participants. The program will host 25 participants (15 from Georgia and 10 from other developing countries).
