Training Program on Management of Non-Profit Organizations is launched

On October 21, EWMI ACCESS launched its 5-month certified training program for current and future CSO leaders in management of non-profit organizations. EWMI Implementing partner, the Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), who will lead this component and deliver training sessions, has opened the course for 24 selected CSO leaders from Tbilisi and from regions of Georgia (Dusheti, Gori, Telavi and Rustavi). The program strives to turn Georgian CSOs into mission-driven and well-run actors in their focus areas. The course is the first attempt to cover almost all aspects of NGO and project management – defining the core concepts and values of a non-governmental organization, value-based organizational strategic planning, project cycle management, innovative fundraising and sustainability, PR and social marketing, financial management, leading and managing people, etc. The course consists of seven modules, out of which three are mandatory and four optional. In order to get a certificate, participants have to attend at least three mandatory and two optional modules. The studies will combine theoretical work and skills-building exercises on examples of the projects implemented by participants and the organizations they represent. The program is fully funded by EWMI ACCESS and is free for the participants.
