The International Documentary Film festival – CineDoc-Tbilis, within the Civil Pitch initiative announces call for applications for Georgian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and movie directors to produce documentaries on pending social issues.
What is a Civil Pitch?
Civil Pitch is a unique opportunity for CSOs, civic activists and movie directors to produce a joint documentary on social issues that CSOs are working on.
Civil Pitch was first held in 2016. This year two winners will be revealed.
- The East-West Management Institute’s ACCESS project will provide funding of up to 10,000 USD for one joint project;
- Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF) will provide up to 3,000 USD funding for one or more projects.
CSOs working on human rights, democratic governance, environment protection, peacebuilding, civic education and other pressing social issues are eligible to apply.
