Website purpose and services
ewmi-activism.org is part of the Civil Society Engagement Program in Georgia, a five-year activity funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by East-West Management Institute Inc.
Program objectives:
- Objective one: enhance the capacity of civic actors to address citizen-identified issues.
- Objective two: foster partnerships among civic actors and between civic actors and other sectors.
- Objective three: develop an ecosystem for the sustainability of civic actors.
The program aims to strengthen Georgian civil society by:
- Building the capacity of new and existing civic actors to act as trusted, legitimate, and effective representatives of citizens’ interests.
- Empowering and mobilizing communities to advocate for their rights.
- Building an ecosystem for civic actors to diversify their resource base.
Our Website provides resources, news, event information, and detailed information about program components and objectives related to civil society initiatives. We offer articles and downloadable resources for activists and support civic movements, activists, and civil society organizations in Georgia.

Users may post comments on our articles. By submitting comments, you grant EWMI a non-exclusive license to display your comments on the Website. You agree to abide by our content guidelines:
