Online Training Course – ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace’

The Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), with the support of EWMI ACCESS launched a new online course on Prevention of the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. The course is designed for civil society organizations (CSOs) to help them identify and address possible cases of workplace sexual harassment, and develop efficient internal prevention mechanisms. Although primarily targeting non-profit organizations/CSOs, the course is open and free for anyone interested.

The course is self-paced and consists of three modules. The first module is a general introduction of the issue of workplace sexual harassment, and deals moreover with identifying different types of harassment. It also provides specific examples, i.e. real-life cases of sexual harassment in the workplace. The second module focuses on the regulatory framework and existing legal mechanisms set up to help victims establish the facts of discrimination. Lastly, the third module aims directly at addressing sexual harassment within the single organization or company and designing internal prevention mechanisms. The course also includes additional study materials, samples of complaints form and policy documents on sexual harassment prevention.

CTC and EWMI ACCESS, before finalization of the course, piloted it to a small group, collecting useful and detailed feedback from various stakeholders. This training course has been financed by EWMI ACCESS and participation in it is open and free for anyone interested. Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will receive an online certificate of achievement.
